Oatmeal banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- cinnamon
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 4 c
- dark brown sugar, packed - 2 c
- plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- large bananas, mashed - 4 item
- quick oats uncooked - 2 c
How to make oatmeal banana bread:
Combine bananas, oats and milk in bowl; set aside. Cream butter or oleo and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine dry ingredients, adding alternately with banana mixture to creamed mixture. Spoon into two greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour. Remove from pans; cool on wire rack. Yields 2 loaves. Can be frozen up to 3 months.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Fruit.
