Never fail fudge



  • sugar - 4 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 2 c
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • cocoa - 5 Tbsp
  • white syrup - 2/3 c
  • butter or oleo - 1/4 lb

How to make never fail fudge:

Combine sugar, cocoa, syrup and milk. Stir well. Add salt and butter. Place on medium heat and bring to a rapid boil, as soon as mixture begins to boil, time for 6 minutes.

Remove from heat and add vanilla. Using electric mixer, beat until gloss disappears (about 10 minutes). Add nuts and pour into greased pans.
