Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- plain flour - 2 Tbsp
- Crisco oil - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 2 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
How to make mustard sauce:
Blend oil, flour, mustard, salt and pepper in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat 1 minute. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and bubbles. Makes about 1 cup.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
