Mushroom rice
Ingredients/Components
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- finely chopped green onion and tops - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- chicken broth - 2 c
How to make mushroom rice:
Put rice and mushrooms in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Saute onion in butter until tender. Add broth and salt; bring to a boil. Pour over rice; stir well. Cover and bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until tender. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Side dish, Rice, Short Grain rice.
