Mom's macaroni salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- sliced green onions - 1/4 c
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1/3 c
- celery - 1 c
- radishes - 1/2 c
- French dressing - 1/3 c
- cucumbers - 1 c
- shell macaroni - 7 oz
- can mushrooms broiled - 6 oz
How to make mom's macaroni salad:
Cook macaroni until barely tender; drain well. Rinse with cold water. Combine mushrooms and French dressing with macaroni. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Drain off excess dressing. Combine and add remaining ingredients; toss with macaroni.Makes a full meal if you add a can of tuna.
