Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- frozen mixed vegetables - 1 lb
- crushed corn flakes for topping - 1 item
How to make mixed vegetable casserole:
Mix vegetables, water and salt. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour into casserole dish. Mix together grated cheese, onion, celery and mayonnaise and pour mixture over the vegetable mixture. Top with crushed corn flakes. Bake at 350° until bubbly hot. Can be halved for smaller group.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
