Ingredients/Components
- soup can milk - 1/2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese
- celery seed - 3/4 tsp
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- large white onions, sliced into rings - 2 item
How to make texas onion casserole:
Saute onion rings in saucepan in a little butter until almost transparent, then place in 2-quart casserole. Put other ingredients into the same saucepan and heat, stirring until cheese melts. Pour this mixture over the onions. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs or Ritz cracker crumbs. Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for about 30 minutes.
