Ingredients/Components
- sticks butter, melted - 2 item
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- flour
- pecans
- miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
- Frosting:1/2 stick butter
- milk - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Frosting:1/2 stick butter1/2 c. milk1 lb. powdered sugar1/3 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla Combine first 6 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking dish at 350° for 30 minutes. Place marshmallows on top of cake. Put back in oven to toast marshmallows. Drizzle chocolate frosting over marshmallows.Frosting: In saucepan over low heat, combine butter and milk and cook until butter is melted. Beat in sugar, cocoa and vanilla.
