  • sticks butter, melted - 2 item
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 4 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • flour
  • pecans
  • miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
  • Frosting:1/2 stick butter
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make mississippi mud cake:

Frosting:1/2 stick butter1/2 c. milk1 lb. powdered sugar1/3 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla Combine first 6 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking dish at 350° for 30 minutes. Place marshmallows on top of cake. Put back in oven to toast marshmallows. Drizzle chocolate frosting over marshmallows.

Frosting: In saucepan over low heat, combine butter and milk and cook until butter is melted. Beat in sugar, cocoa and vanilla.
