Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- powdered sugar - 3 c
- margarine - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Topping:1 pkg. miniature marshmallows Frosting:1/2 c. margarine1/3 c. cocoa3 c. powdered sugar scant 1/3 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla Melt margarine; add cocoa, sugar and beaten eggs. Mix well. Add flour, then nuts. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Turn oven off. Spread marshmallows over hot cake; return to oven for 5 minutes. Cool.Mix melted margarine, cocoa, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Spread over cooled cake.
