  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • German chocolate cake mix - 1 item

How to make upside-down german chocolate cake:

Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Spread pecans and coconut into pan. Prepare cake mix according to directions on box. Pour over nuts and coconut. Mix together sugar, cream cheese and butter. Spoon over cake batter. Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.
