How to make microwave scalloped potatoes:
Place butter in a 1 quart measuring cup. Microwave on High for 30 seconds or until melted. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually stir in milk. Microwave on High for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes. Layer half of the potatoes, onion and sauce in a greased 2 quart casserole. Repeat layers. Cover. Microwave on High (10) for 17 to 19 minutes. Remove. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Potato.
