How to make microwave scalloped potatoes:
Microwave butter until melted. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Microwave 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes. Layer 1/2 of potatoes, onion and sauce in greased 2 quart casserole dish. Repeat layers. Cover and microwave 18 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with paprika or 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese after cooking. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Potato.
