Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1/3 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- dash of ground nutmeg - 1 item
- medium apples, pared and cored - 8 item
How to make microwave applesauce:
Cover in microwave-safe bowl: apples, water and sugar. Cook on High for 12 to 14 minutes or until apples are tender. Stir 2 or 3 times during cooking. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook on High for 2 to 4 minutes. Stir well. Makes 4 1/2 cups.For smooth texture, puree in blender.
