Mexican tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 2 lb
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 item
- Monterey Jack cheese, shredded - 1 item
- flour tortillas - 1 pkg
- taco seasoning dry - 2 pkg
- cans cream of mushroom soup or 2 cans cream of chicken soup or 1 can each - 2 item
How to make mexican tortilla casserole:
Brown ground beef in skillet and pour off fat. Stir in soups; mix well, then add taco seasoning and mix again. In a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, put about 1/2 meat mixture and top with tortillas folded in half. Cover with Monterey Jack cheese. Add remaining meat mixture. Add more tortillas and top with Cheddar cheese. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and dish is hot.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
