Mexican cornbread
Ingredients/Components
- self-rising cornmeal - 2 c
- self-rising flour - 4 Tbsp
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk
- egg - 1 item
- large can cream-style corn - 1 item
- chopped jalapeno peppers optional - 1/3 c
- ground chuck, browned and seasoned - 1 lb
- stick butter - 1 item
- pkg - 8 oz
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix all ingredients. Pour in a heated greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.Note: Recipe may be halved and baked in a large heated skillet.
