- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 lb
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- yellow corn meal - 1 c
- jalapeno pepper, chopped - 1 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix ingredients and pour 1/2 of batter into a thick greased pan. Put on top grated cheese and jalapeno. Pour on rest of batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
