Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- grated cheese - 3/4 c
- can creamed corn - 8 oz
- cornmeal mix - 1 c
- can green chili peppers optional - 1 oz
How to make mexican corn bread:
Melt margarine in large iron skillet at 400°. Mix all other ingredients in bowl. Add melted margarine, leaving 2 tablespoons in pan. Stir all together and pour into pan. Bake approximately 40 minutes.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
