Ingredients/Components

  • ground beef - 4 lb
  • applesauce - 1/2 c
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • eggs - 4 item
  • rolled cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • Divide into 2 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans and bake at 400° for about 1 hour
  • cold water - 1 item
  • flour - 2 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item

How to make meat loaf:

Combine ingredients and blend well, adding a little water to make a very moist mix. Divide into 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans and bake at 400° for about 1 hour. Pour off grease after 30 minutes.Skillet Gravy:1 1/2 c. shortening cold water2 c. flour salt and pepper
