Broasted chicken
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- water - 5 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 4 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice or ReaLemon - 1 Tbsp
How to make broasted chicken:
Heat and blend thoroughly. Dip chicken in flour, then in sauce. Place in pan. Pour remainder of sauce over meat. Cover and bake in 450° oven 15 minutes. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done in a 325° oven.Soak 1 cut up fryer in brine of scant 1/4 cup Tender Quick to 1 quart of water overnight. Do not salt your chicken before baking.
