  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • mayonnaise - 1 c

How to make mayonnaise cake:

Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with shortening and dust with flour; set aside. In large bowl, sift all dry ingredients. Add mayonnaise, water and vanilla. Beat very little. Pour into pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
