Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • plain flour - 2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • very warm water - 1 c

How to make mayonnaise cake:

Mix mayonnaise and sugar well. Add cocoa, vanilla, water, baking soda and salt. Mix together. Stir in flour and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
