Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 1
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- freshly ground pepper - 1 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- capers - 2 tsp
- red pepper flakes - 1 tsp
- fresh parsley, minced - 1 Tbsp
- lemon, juiced - 1 item
- mushrooms whole or halved; trim stems - 12 16
- scallions and pimentos, if desired - 1 item
How to make marinated mushrooms:
Toss mushrooms with lemon juice. Add next 10 ingredients. Sprinkle on capers just before serving.Note: Use all ingredients.
