Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg whites - 3 item
- nuts - 1 c
- whipping cream - 1/2 pt
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- pineapple preserves - 3 Tbsp
- small soda crackers break in pieces - 18 item
How to make macaroon pie:
Beat egg whites until foamy. Fold in cream of tartar, beat until stiff. Fold in sugar, crackers, nuts and vanilla. Spread in buttered cake pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Let cool. Whip cream stiff, fold in preserves and spread on pie. Let stRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
