Ingredients/Components
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 12 oz
- milk
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- uncooked macaroni - 8 oz
- butter - 1 item
How to make macaroni and cheese casserole:
Cook macaroni in boiling water, drain well. In a buttered 2-quart baking pan, put layers of macaroni and layer of cheese until both are used. Beat eggs, milk and salt. Pour eggs and milk mixture over macaroni and cheese. Dot with butter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Elbow macaroni.
