Ingredients/Components
- flour - 5 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- bread crumbs
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chicken stock - 1 item
- small onions - 3 item
- ground liver
- eggs beat first - 2 item
How to make liver dumplings:
Mix liver, eggs, bread crumbs and flour. Saute onions in butter; add onions to mixture. Roll liver balls in flour. Cook in hot chicken broth for 20 minutes with lid off. Add egg noodles when dumplings are just about boiling in broth. Do not drain broth.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Beef organ meats, Beef liver.
