Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 1/2 c
- large cloves garlic - 3 item
- cans clams, drained reserve liquid - 3 item
- black and red pepper and oregano to taste - 1 item
How to make linguine with white clam sauce:
Heat oil and 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over low heat. Add garlic, parsley, pepper and oregano. Simmer 5 minutes. In another pan, melt remaining butter over low heat. Add flour and, stirring constantly, cook about 2 minutes. Slowly add clam juice while stirring. Combine the contents of both saucepans and simmer for 5 minutes.
