Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- grated lemon peel - 2 Tbsp
How to make lemon sauce:
Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in margarine and flavoring. Serve over pound cake or other dessert. Yields 2 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
