Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- snipped fresh parsley - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- ground black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated lemon peel - 1 tsp
- uncooked long grain rice - 1 c
How to make lemon rice:
Combine rice, margarine, garlic, lemon peel, pepper and broth in a 2 or 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in parsley. Add salt to taste.Recipe categories: Side dish, Lemon, Stuffings Dressings.
