Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- sifted powdered sugar
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
- plain nonfat yogurt - 1 c
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- fat-free yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make lemon poppy seed cake:
Lemon Glaze:1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar2 Tbsp. lemon juice Combine cake mix and sugar in a large mixing bowl; add vegetable oil and the next 4 ingredients. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer for 6 minutes. Stir in poppy seed. Pour batter into a 10-cup Bundt pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until it tests done with pick. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan.Combine Lemon Glaze ingredients, stirring until smooth; drizzle with glaze.
