  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • vegetable oil - 1/3 c
  • sifted powdered sugar
  • lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
  • poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
  • plain nonfat yogurt - 1 c
  • vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
  • fat-free yellow cake mix - 1 item

How to make lemon poppy seed cake:

Lemon Glaze:1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar2 Tbsp. lemon juice Combine cake mix and sugar in a large mixing bowl; add vegetable oil and the next 4 ingredients. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer for 6 minutes. Stir in poppy seed. Pour batter into a 10-cup Bundt pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until it tests done with pick. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan.

Combine Lemon Glaze ingredients, stirring until smooth; drizzle with glaze.
