Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
- 5 oz
- plain nonfat yogurt - 1 c
- egg substitute - 1 c
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- Lemon Glaze - 1 item
- Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer 6 minutes
How to make lemon poppy seed cake:
Combine cake mix and sugar in a large mixing bowl; add vegetable oil, water, yogurt, egg substitute and lemon juice. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer 6 minutes. Stir in poppy seed. Pour batter into a 10-cup Bundt pan coated with vegetable cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan; drizzle with Lemon Glaze and cool completely on wire rack.
