  • cornstarch
  • water
  • lemon juice - 1/3 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • egg yolks, beaten slightly - 2 item
  • prepared pie crust, baked - 1 item

How to make lemon meringue pie:

Sift the dry ingredients into the top of a double boiler; add the water and egg yolks. Stir until dissolved. Cook mixture over hot water in the double boiler, stirring frequently, until thick, about 15 minutes. Add the lemon juice and grated rind; mix
