Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- graham cracker crust - 1 item
- ReaLemon - 1/2 c
- ground lemon rind - 1 tsp
How to make lemon meringue:
Preheat oven to 350°. In medium bowl beat egg yolks; stir in sweetened condensed milk, ReaLemon and rind. Pour in crust. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, but not dry. Spread meringue on top of pie; seal carefully to edge of crust. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low sodium, Low fat.
