Key lime pie



  • egg yolks - 2 item
  • can sweetened condensed milk - 15 oz
  • lime juice - 1/3 c
  • meringue - 1 item
  • grated lime rind - 1 tsp
  • drop green food coloring - 1 item
  • 8-inch baked pastry shell

How to make key lime pie:

Add lime rind, lime juice and food coloring to condensed milk; blend until thick and smooth. Stir in egg yolks; blend well. Pour into baked pastry shell. Top with meringue. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool 2 to 3 hours. Keep refrigerated.
