Lemon curd

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 lb
• butter - 3 oz
• egg yolks - 3 item
• lemons - 2 item

How to make lemon curd:

Cream sugar and butter. Squeeze the lemons and grate the rinds. Add this along with the beaten egg yolks to the creamed mixture. Heat in a double boiler. Stir with a wooden spoon until it thickens.
