Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
  • green onions, chopped - 1 item
  • taco seasoning mix - 1 pkg
  • medium avocados - 3 item
  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
  • cans bean dip - 2 item
  • chopped ripe olives optional - 1 item
  • jar piquant sauce - 1 oz

How to make layered mexican dip:

In a 13 x 9-inch pan, layer the bean dip and piquant sauce. Combine avocados, lemon juice, salt and pepper; layer next. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning; layer next. Top with onions, tomatoes, olives and cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Serve with chips.
