Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- water - 1 Tbsp
- fresh mushrooms - 1 lb
- instant potato flakes - 1/3 1/2
- garlic or onion salt optional - 1 item
How to make fried mushrooms:
In a small bowl, combine egg and water. In another bowl, combine salt and potato flakes. Dip mushrooms, one at a time, in the egg mixture. Toss in the second mixture, adding more potato flakes as needed. Fry in oil 2 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
