Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 3/4 c
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 1 lb
  • olive oil - 2 Tbsp
  • cloves garlic, finely chopped - 2 item
  • container Ricotta cheese - 1 (15
  • jars pasta sauce - 2 oz

How to make lasagna florentine:

In a large pan, cook onion and garlic in oil. Add pasta sauce; simmer 15 minutes. In a bowl, mix Ricotta, spinach, 1 cup Mozzarella, Parmesan and eggs.

In a 15 x 9-inch baking dish, layer 2 cups of sauce, half the lasagna noodles, half the remaining sauce, all of the spinach mixture, half of the Mozzarella, remaining lasagna noodles and sauce. Cover; bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until hot. Uncover; top with remaining Mozzarella. Bake 15 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Top with parsley, if desired.
