Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- can solid pack pumpkin - 1 lb
- 10-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- heavy cream plus some for garnish if desired - 1 c
How to make la madeleine pumpkin pie:
Preheat oven to 375°. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, mix pumpkin and corn syrup until well blended. Mix into dry ingredients. Add cream and eggs; mix until well combined. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 10-inch pie shell.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
