  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • corn syrup - 1/4 c
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • can solid pack pumpkin - 1 lb
  • 10-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • heavy cream plus some for garnish if desired - 1 c

How to make la madeleine pumpkin pie:

Preheat oven to 375°. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, mix pumpkin and corn syrup until well blended. Mix into dry ingredients. Add cream and eggs; mix until well combined. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 10-inch pie shell.
