Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 c
- marjoram - 3 Tbsp
- liquid smoke - 2 Tbsp
- + 1 tsp - 2 Tbsp
- ground venison - 24 lb
- Tender Quick - 2 Tbsp
- ground calamon - 3 Tbsp
How to make jerky:
Mix first 7 ingredients together and freeze. Then slice while still partly frozen into thin strips. Lay on racks; brush with remaining ingredients. Bake or dehydrate on low heat until done, 4 to 6 hours.Recipe categories: Beef, Deer, Moose.
