Barbecue chicken
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- oleo - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- liquid smoke - 2 tsp
- cut-up fryer - 1 item
How to make barbecue chicken:
Put all ingredients in saucepan and place over low heat until oleo is melted. Do not boil. Put 1 cut-up fryer in baking dish and place in oven at 350° to 400° until chicken begins to dry out. Spoon hot sauce over meat; continue baking, turning chicken and coating each piece several times until meat is done.
