Ingredients/Components
- water - 4 c
- garlic powder - 1 item
- parsley flakes - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- rice - 4 c
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- onion, chopped fine - 2 c
- celery, chopped fine - 1 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- cayenne pepper to taste - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped fine - 1 c
- whole oregano - 1/2 tsp
- chicken or any meat - 2 lb
How to make jambalaya:
Fry meat until brown. As frying, add vegetables and seasoning. As cooking, add water. Add rice and water. Cook on low heat and stir often. Cook until rice is done.Recipe categories: Poultry, Meat, Cajun.
