Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 4 oz
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 8 oz
- cottage cheese
- oregano - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- salt to taste - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- uncooked lasagna noodles - 8 oz
- ground turkey or Italian sausage - 1 lb
- oregano more if desired - 1 tsp
How to make lasagna:
Brown and drain turkey and onion. Mix together next 8 ingredients and add to cooked meat. In large bowl, mix together next 4 ingredients.Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam and layer as follows: 1/2 meat sauce, 1/2 noodles, all of cottage cheese mixture, 1/2 noodles and 1/2 meat sauce. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour in 350° oven. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
