  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 6 item
  • sour cream - 6 Tbsp
  • butter or margarine
  • flour - 3 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • blackberry jam - 2 c

How to make jam cake:

Cream butter or margarine well and add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add jam and sour cream to which the soda has been added, then flour and spices, mixed. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Makes a large cake.
