Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 6 item
- sour cream - 6 Tbsp
- butter or margarine
- flour - 3 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- blackberry jam - 2 c
How to make jam cake:
Cream butter or margarine well and add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add jam and sour cream to which the soda has been added, then flour and spices, mixed. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Makes a large cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Grains.
