Jalapeno cheese balls
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- large onion, quartered - 1 item
- tortilla chips or crackers - 1 item
- whole canned jalapeno peppers - 5 item
How to make jalapeno cheese balls:
Combine cheese, peppers, onion and garlic in work bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade. Process with 2 or 3 on-off turns to blend. Add mayonnaise; process until smooth. Chill until firm. Form into 1 large ball or 16 to 20 bite sized balls. Chill until cheese is firm. Roll in pecans; chill again.
