Italian vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- shredded cabbage - 2 c
- sliced carrots - 3 item
- elbow macaroni - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- diced onions - 1 c
- frozen green beans - 1 c
- water or more - 2 3
- can red kidney beans undrained - 1 oz
- to 3 stalks sliced celery - 2 item
- beef granules 3 pkg - 5 tsp
How to make italian vegetable soup:
Brown beef and drain. Add all ingredients except cabbage, green beans and macaroni. Bring to a boil. Lower heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add cabbage, beans and macaroni. Bring to boil; simmer until vegetables are tender.If you prefer thinner soup, add additional water or broth. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
