  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 3 c
  • diced green pepper - 1 item
  • Parmesan cheese - 1 item
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • cans tomato paste - 2 oz
  • spaghetti - 16 oz
  • garlic cloves - 2 item
  • medium diced onion - 1 item
  • can ripe pitted olives - 1 item
  • envelopes Italian spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms - 2 item

How to make italian spaghetti:

Cook and stir ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients, except spaghetti and cheese. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring sauce occasionally. Cook spaghetti as directed on package. Serve meat sauce over hot spaghetti. Serves 8.
