Ingredients/Components
- dash of salt - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- chopped tomato - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
- olive oil - 1/3 c
- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 3/4 c
- loaf Italian bread - 1 item
- minced garlic clove - 1 item
How to make italian bread:
In small bowl, mix garlic, oil, salt and pepper. With pastry brush, spread on to Italian bread; cut lengthwise and place on foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle each with onion, tomato and cheeses. Bake 5 to 6 minutes in 500° oven until cheese melts and crust turns brown.Favorite herbs may be sprinkled onto vegetables before adding cheeses.
