Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- garlic salt - 1/8 tsp
- onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground pepper - 1/2 tsp
- top round roast - 4 lb
How to make italian beef:
Place meat in roasting pan. Combine all other ingredients. Heat and pour over meat. Cover, bake at 350° for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender. Turn often to baste. Cool. Remove from meat juice, slice meat very thin. Add cornstarch to meat juice to make thin gravy. Return meat to gravy, keep warm.
