Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- onion juice - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- bouillon cubes - 2 item
- green pepper slices - 1 item
- hard rolls - 1 item
- rump roast of desired weight - 1 item
How to make italian beef:
Place roast in roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except pepper slices and hard rolls. Pour over roast. Roast in a 325° oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Slice beef thinly and return to juices for 2 hours on low temperature. Green pepper slices may be baked along with sliced beef in last oven stage.
