Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • milk
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • sliced tomatoes - 2 item
  • Bisquick baking mix - 3/4 c

How to make impossible cheeseburger pie:

Heat oven to 400°. Grease quiche dish. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet. Drain. Add salt and pepper. Spread in bottom of dish. Beat in milk, baking mix and and eggs until smooth (about 1 minute by hand). Pour over meat mixture in dish. Bake for 25 minutes. Take out and layer sliced tomato over top, sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let set 5 minutes before cutting. Serves 6.
